Half of the year has flown by in the proverbial blink of an eye.
And in all transparency, our 2022 plans had us further ahead at this point.
It has been a frustrating year so far having hit some unexpected 'turbulence', and whilst we can't speak too widely about the problems we've encountered, suffice it to say we have learnt some hard and valuable lessons.
We have said it numerous times before but to make it in start-up land you need to possess a dogged resilience and belief in your mission. Dealing with existential threats on a daily basis for a prolonged period is par for the course, and should come with a health warning!
As founders, we might have given up long ago were it not for our incredibly astute and supportive network.
Our investors are pragmatic and optimistic having 'been there, done it and got the t-shirt' themselves launching two wildly successful businesses. Their know-how in how to navigate these early stage choppy waters is of great comfort.
Our advisory team have gone above and beyond their remit, in some cases working full time with us. We will be forever grateful for their blood, sweat and tears - We'd have been kaput long ago without them!
And our ever-patient families, who have supported us (and continue to do so) through some incredibly trying times. We are fighting so hard for them in particular, to ensure we return their faith in us. That moment where we can say it was all worth it, will feel so so sweet.
Ok ok... enough of the glass half empty 'woe is me' narrative, because for all the wading through treacle that this year has been so far, we are delighted to say that 2022 is very much shaping up to be a game of two halves (or so goes the old football adage!).
Having been forced to play catch up, we are now doing just that, with the first iteration of our platform now almost complete!!
Product 1.0 is an AI-enabled anonymized job application / job board platform, and she's beautiful! ????
Our testing phase will start shortly ahead of go-live in August/Sept with the onboarding of our early adopters - including some of the world's foremost brands who we can't wait to reveal!
Furthermore, CandidateX recently received some huge huge news which promises to provide an incredible boost to our product development roadmap over the next 12 months. All to be revealed very soon!!
So for all the aforementioned existential threats we are very much still standing and hurtling onwards into an incredibly busy launch period. We can't wait to finally be in the market.
Whatever the rest of 2022 has in store for us, we are ready for it, stronger than before.
